Question: How can I evaluate the service? Answer: Complete the User Registration form to obtain unlimited use of the Free Surveyspackage. This gives you access to all functions of the service though Survey templates in the Free Surveys package will contain a range of discreet adverts. Question: How many surveys can I run? Answer: The number of simultaneous surveys you can run depends on the package to which you subscribe. The Free Surveys, Pay-as-you-go, Basic, and Corporate packages allow you to run an unlimited number of concurrent surveys. Question: How do I build my own survey questions? Answer: All of our survey packages provide access to both our library of pre-built questionnaires, and also to our questionnaire editor, allowing you to create your own questionnaires from scratch. Register as a user and subscribe to the Free Surveys, Pay-as-you-go, Basic, or Corporate package.
Question: Can I send my invitations out using a specific senders email address? Answer: Yes. Subscription to the Pay-as-you-go, Basic, or Corporate packages allow you to specify the email address to be used as the senders address in email invitations. The Free Surveys package will send out email invitations using the email address you registered with. Question: Can I create an anonymous survey? Answer: Yes. Create your survey as normal then select the Anonymous Survey checkbox. This will ensure that when response data to your survey is viewed no information about the respondant is available. This will be applied to respondants and to yourself, making the survey truely anonymous. Question: Can I share my results with my audience? Answer: Yes. If you select the Share Survey Results checkbox when creating the survey, your respondants will be able to view the results summary for the survey by clicking on the link provided in the completion page thanking them for contributing their response. Question: Will the service work with my web browser? Answer: The OpinionGauge service has been tested common browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer v5.5 and above, and Firefox 1.5 and above. Users responding to surveys can use any browser that supports HTML 4.01 and javascript. Question: How safe is my mailing list information? Answer: All mailing list and response information is held in our secure repository. Our Privacy policy dictates that we will not use or disclose your data. Answer: The email templates included as part of your package have been constructed to minimise the likelyhood of your invitation emails being classed as SPAM. At OpinionGauge, we work hard to integrate new technologies which ensure that genuine emails reach their recipients. We also provide de-subscription facilities as part of your package to allow your email audience to notify you when they do not wish to be contacted further, reducing the chance of them reporting you as a SPAM-sender. Question: Can I use my existing CRM tools to email my invitations? Answer: Yes. Anonymous surveys can be distributed by copying the Anonymous Link to the survey (displayed once the survey has been created) and pasting it into the email invitations you send out through your CRM tool. For details on how to send out identified response (non-anonymous) surveys though your CRM solution please contact our support team... Question: Can I use my survey as part of my existing website? Answer: Yes. Surveys can be accessed from your existing websites by copying the Anonymous Link to the survey (displayed once the survey has been created) and inserting it as a link on your website page. It is also possible to use this mechanism to provide identifiable feedback on your own site material by adding extra parameters to the pasted link identifying the material being reviewed.
